The School Age Room

Educare Children's Centre School Age program is licensed for 24 children and offers a unique program year round. During the school year, before and after school care is provided as well full-day care during school holidays (excluding statutory holidays).

We welcome children from 4 neighbourhood schools. Supervised walks are also provided to and from Brian W. Flemming Public School and St. Alfred's Catholic School.

We believe that all children are individuals and are encouraged to explore and challenge themselves. Our specialized program also offers opportunities for each child to participate in the activities during both the school year and summer.

Ages:  6 -10 Years

School Year Program Includes:

• Creative Art Daily
• Outdoor Activities
• Stranger Danger (Street Proofing Program)
• Special Guest Speakers such as: Police, Fire Department and Animal Control Officers, Soccer Coach, Martial Arts Instructor etc..
• Homework Table with teacher assistance
• Supervised walks to and from neighbourhood schools
• Special activities on P.A. Days and Early release days.

Summer and March Break Program include:

• Daily use of condominium in-ground heated pool and oversized wading pool during summer months
• Field Trips (i.e. Hiking, Bowling Blue Jays Games, Toronto Zoo, etc)
• Homemade lunches daily
• Family participation in Multicultural feast
• Sports activities such as baseball, soccer, volleyball
• Make Your Own meals i.e.taco's homemade lasagna, fruit salad, baking various treats, pizza
